Technical background

The Vintage Five combines Fyne's IsoFlare coincident driver technology with a cabinet aesthetic inspired by classic British standmounts. The 5.5-inch IsoFlare driver provides point-source imaging — tweeter through the centre of the woofer — while the downward-firing BassTrax port extends bass to 46Hz from a compact cabinet. The natural walnut veneer is genuine wood, not printed film.

The Fyne Vintage range was created for listeners who love the aesthetic of classic British loudspeakers but want modern performance. Cabinets evoke the proportions and materials of 1970s British monitors while housing Fyne's most advanced driver technology, designed and built in Lennoxtown.
