TWENTY5I ACTIVE UPGRADE

Factory upgrade kit that converts a passive twenty5i speaker pair into fully active operation. Includes PMC's amplifier module and DSP crossover board; must be fitted by an authorised PMC service centre. Compatible with twenty5.21i through twenty5.24i. €2,310. The PMC twenty5i active upgrade kit converts a passive twenty5i standmount or floorstander into a fully active self-powered speaker. The upgrade module is installed inside the existing cabinet and includes a Class D amplifier and active crossover, allowing owners of passive twenty5i speakers to upgrade to active operation without purchasing a new loudspeaker.

Technical background

The twenty5i active upgrade kit retrofits a Class D amplifier module and DSP active crossover board into any member of the passive twenty5i family, replacing the passive crossover network with active electronics and adding XLR and RCA inputs. Installation is completed by an authorised PMC dealer.
