Mid-size 2-way ATL standmount with deeper bass extension to 39Hz and higher 89dB sensitivity than the twenty5.21i. Wider 192mm cabinet accommodates a larger ATL fold. Now discontinued; replaced by the Prophecy range. The PMC twenty5.22i is a larger two-way standmount loudspeaker featuring a 6.5-inch g-weave long-throw woofer and 19mm SONOMEX soft-dome tweeter with a 2m ATL transmission line for bass extension to 39Hz. Its higher sensitivity (89dB) compared to the 21i makes it easier to drive and more suited to medium-sized rooms. The 'i' revision refined the crossover and driver specifications over the original twenty5.22.

Technical background

The twenty5.22i uses a 6.5-inch g-weave bass driver for greater bass extension and impact than the twenty5.21i, while retaining the same ATL loading and SONOMEX tweeter.

Design story

Replaced by the Prophecy range in 2025, the twenty5.22i occupied the larger-standmount position in the twenty5i family.
