TA9000NEO SILVER 9"

Acoustic Signature TA9000NEO tonearm in silver finish — 9-inch effective length, precision-engineered. The TA-9000 NEO applies space-technology Timken ball bearings — pre-tensioned for near-zero play — to a multi-structure damped aluminum armtube available in 9" and 12" lengths. Internal wiring is high-purity 4N silver throughout, and the arm ships with a 1.5 m Atlas Equator phono cable. An optional titanium headshell upgrade adds extreme rigidity for the most demanding low-compliance moving-coil cartridges. Reviewed by The Absolute Sound in tandem with the Invictus NEO, the TA-9000 NEO received a Golden Ear Award in 2023 — confirming its position as a world-class tonearm at a price well below the absolute summit.

Technical background

The TA9000NEO uses Timken ball bearings — a bearing originally developed for aerospace applications — in a multi-structure damped aluminium armtube. Multiple structural layers in the armtube material provide internal damping that conventional single-material armtubes cannot achieve. 4N silver internal wiring. Available in 9-inch and 12-inch lengths with optional titanium headshell.

Design story

The TA9000NEO was designed as the high-end reference tonearm below the TA10000NEO — sharing the same philosophy of space-grade bearing technology and 4N silver wiring at a more accessible price. The titanium headshell upgrade was developed for buyers using cartridges that benefit from extreme headshell rigidity.
