TA7000NEO SILVER 9"
Stereophile-Reviewed Mid-High Tonearm β TA7000NEO with 3D-Damped Carbon Armtube
Description β
Acoustic Signature TA7000NEO tonearm in silver finish β 9-inch effective length. The TA-7000 NEO introduces a 3D-damped conical carbon armtube β a more rigid geometry than cylindrical designs β paired with space-grade pre-tensioned ball bearings and 4N silver internal wiring. Available in 9" and 12" configurations, it was reviewed by Stereophile in Spin Doctor #13 alongside the Verona NEO and TA-5000 NEO, where its combination of low effective mass (10.2 g at 9") and high rigidity was highlighted as ideal for a wide range of moving-coil cartridges. The arm ships with an Atlas Equator phono cable and is available in four finish options.
Technical background
The TA7000NEO uses a 3D-damped conical carbon armtube β a super-rigid structure with internal 3D-printed damping inserts that reduce armtube resonance. Pre-tensioned space-grade ball bearings and 4N silver internal wiring. Effective mass of 10.2g (9 inch) suits MC and MM cartridges across a wide compliance range.
Design story
The TA7000NEO was designed as the accessible high-performance member of the AS tonearm range β bringing conical carbon armtube technology and space-grade bearings to a broader market. Its Stereophile recognition reflects its standing as a competitive product in the mid-high tonearm category.

Awards & press
"The TA7000NEO is an exceptional tonearm for its price β the conical carbon armtube and space-grade bearings provide a level of tracking stability that is immediately audible." β Stereophile "A tonearm that competes with products at twice its price β the TA7000NEO is one of Acoustic Signature's strongest value propositions." β Hi-Fi News
