The Meze Audio STRADA is a closed-back over-ear dynamic headphone that inherits the precision-crafted magnesium chassis of the LIRIC — Meze's acclaimed closed-back planar — reimagined around a dynamic driver architecture for a fuller, more engaging and fatigue-free listening experience. The acoustic engine at its heart is derived from the 109 Pro's 50mm driver, re-tuned specifically for closed-back loading: a W-shaped composite dome in carbon fiber-reinforced cellulose minimises resonances; a beryllium-coated torus (PVD-applied PEEK) improves stiffness and transient control; and a copper-zinc alloy stabiliser absorbs micro-vibrations to further reduce harmonic distortion. The result is tight, impactful bass, transparent midrange with natural timbre, and smooth, extended treble without harshness. The chassis combines a lightweight rigid magnesium frame — hand-painted in a refined deep green through four applied layers — with Macassar ebony wood ear cups for acoustic damping and visual warmth. Magnetic ear pads detach without tools. A stainless steel headband with padded cushion distributes 332g evenly for long-session comfort. Two detachable 1.8m dual-twisted Kevlar-wrapped OFC cables are included: one terminated in 3.5mm for single-ended use and one in 4.4mm Pentaconn for balanced output; a 6.35mm gold-plated adapter and a hard EVA carry pouch complete the package.
