The PMC prophecyC is a two-way centre-channel loudspeaker using dual 5.25-inch mineral cone woofers flanking a 27mm soft-dome tweeter, with PMC's ATL transmission line and LaminairX front-venting for close-to-wall placement. It is designed to partner the Prophecy floorstanding and standmount models in multichannel systems and delivers matching tonal character for seamless dialogue and surround integration. The PMC prophecyC is the dedicated centre-channel loudspeaker for the Prophecy surround-sound system, perfectly matched in voicing and driver technology to the prophecy1, 5, 7, and 9 to deliver seamless timbre consistency across all channels in a multichannel installation. The prophecyC is a two-way horizontally oriented design using two 134mm LTXL mineral-cone bass/mid drivers flanking a central 27mm soft-dome tweeter — a configuration that maintains horizontal dispersion symmetry for a wide listening area. PMC's ATL™ transmission line (1.79 metres effective length) gives the prophecyC genuine 50Hz bass extension, avoiding the mid-bass shortfall that plagues conventional centre-channel designs. At 575mm wide and 165mm tall, the prophecyC can be positioned on a shelf below a display or on a dedicated stand. Frequency response: 50Hz–20kHz (-3dB); sensitivity: 91.5dB/1W/1m; impedance: 4Ω. Technical background

The prophecyC uses the same LTXL mineral-cone bass drivers and SEAS Excel tweeter as the Prophecy floorstanders, configured in a centre channel format with LaminairX ATL loading for consistent tonal balance across the front soundstage.
