The PMC prophecy5 is a slim two-way floorstanding loudspeaker sharing the same 5.25-inch mineral cone woofer and 27mm soft-dome tweeter as the prophecy1, housed in a taller column cabinet with PMC's ATL transmission line and LaminairX vent technology. At 165mm wide it has the same footprint as the prophecy1 on a stand. It is handcrafted in Britain and available in real wood veneer finishes. The PMC prophecy5 is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker that uses PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) technology — a 1.79-metre folded bass labyrinth inside the cabinet — to achieve genuine 40Hz bass extension from a slim, elegant enclosure only 165mm wide. A single 134mm LTXL mineral-cone woofer with cast-alloy chassis handles both bass and midrange duties, while the 27mm PMC soft-dome tweeter sits on an acoustically optimised front baffle with CNC-machined precision. The Prophecy series draws directly from PMC's professional studio-monitor DNA: the same driver materials, the same ATL bass-loading philosophy, the same cabinet construction discipline that makes PMC monitors the reference in many of the world's leading recording studios. The result is a floorstander of exceptional transparency and low coloration, capable of revealing the finest details in recordings without fatigue. Technical background

The prophecy5 extends the prophecy1's driver and ATL architecture into a slim floorstanding cabinet, increasing the ATL length for deeper bass extension to 35 Hz while retaining the same SEAS Excel driver complement and LaminairX port technology. The slim profile ensures room-friendly placement without sacrificing performance.
