2-way floorstander — PMC Prodigy Series. The PMC Prodigy 5 is a slim two-way floorstanding loudspeaker using the same 5.25-inch natural fibre woofer and 27mm soft-dome tweeter as the Prodigy1 standmount, housed in a taller column cabinet with a 1.96m ATL transmission line for bass extension to 35Hz. Its slender 165mm-wide profile makes it suitable for rooms where a discreet aesthetic is a priority.
Technical background
The Prodigy5 extends the Prodigy concept into a floor-standing format, housing a 1.96-metre ATL within a remarkably slim cabinet to deliver flat bass response to 47 Hz. Class D amplification powers the two-way driver complement, with XLR and RCA inputs for flexible professional and domestic connectivity.

Developed as the natural companion to the Prodigy1, the Prodigy5 offers studio-accurate monitoring in a floor-standing format that fits into spaces where conventional monitors cannot.
