MAXIMUS NEO

Acoustic Signature Maximus NEO — entry-level AS turntable. The Maximus NEO is Acoustic Signature's entry-level NEO series turntable — and that entry point comes with a fully machined 30 mm solid aluminum chassis, DTD diamond-coated bearing spindle, and a single-motor belt drive with integrated digital motor controller. At 415 × 315 mm and approximately 18 kg, it is the most compact and lightweight turntable in the range, yet it shares the same bearing philosophy and quality of manufacture as the Invictus NEO. The 5.8 kg aluminum platter and AVC Level 1 speed control deliver outstanding speed stability for its price. Recognised with TAS Product of the Year 2022, an AnalogPlanet Gruvy Award in 2024, and a Stereoplay Highlight, the Maximus NEO consistently outperforms its specification sheet.

Technical background

The Maximus NEO uses a single motor with an integrated digital motor controller in a 30mm CNC-machined aluminium chassis. The 5.8 kg aluminium platter and DTD diamond-coated bearing provide the same bearing quality as the reference range in the most compact AS package. Accepts one 9-inch tonearm.
