The proprietary DTD (Dura Turn Diamond) bearing with its diamond-coated spindle delivers friction so low it is effectively immeasurable. Technical background

The Invictus NEO uses six symmetrically arranged motors driving a common belt to eliminate rotational torque asymmetry — a problem inherent in single and dual-motor designs. The 16.5 kg platter is embedded with 48 silencer modules (brass cylinders with elastomer inserts) that act as distributed mass dampers, converting groove-induced vibration into heat before it reaches the stylus. The DTD (Diamond Top Diamond) bearing uses a diamond-coated spindle running against a diamond-coated thrust pad — effectively zero friction over a 15-year service life. Up to four tonearms can be mounted simultaneously via dedicated armboards.

Design story

Designed and manufactured entirely at Acoustic Signature's factory in Süssen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the Invictus NEO represents the company's founding philosophy taken to its logical extreme: maximum mechanical isolation, maximum rotational mass, maximum motor redundancy. Every chassis component is CNC-machined from billet aluminium in-house. The NEO designation reflects a comprehensive engineering refresh incorporating the latest DTD bearing and DMC-20 AVC Level 3 motor controller technology.
