Dedicated 3-way centre channel for IB2se — PMC SE Series. The PMC IB2-C SE is a three-way passive centre-channel loudspeaker sharing the same driver complement and ATL technology as the IB2 SE standmount. It uses PMC's 10-inch carbon fibre woofer, 75mm PMC75 SE midrange, and 27mm SONOLEX tweeter in a horizontally oriented cabinet for use as a centre channel in reference home cinema systems.
Technical background
The IB2-C SE uses the same 3-way driver topology and ATL bass loading as the IB2 SE, configured as a centre channel unit. Tonal and dynamic matching to the left/right IB2 SE is exact, eliminating the timbre discontinuity that undermines multichannel monitoring.
