Fyne Audio's flagship SP Special Production floorstander — a 2.5-way design with a 10" IsoFlare point-source driver, twin-cavity downward-firing BassTrax loading, and 96dB sensitivity for partnering with low-powered amplifiers. Extended to 22Hz with exceptional dynamic scale. The F704SP is the Special Production version of the F704 flagship floorstanding speaker, featuring dual 12-inch drivers — one 300mm IsoFlare point-source unit and one 300mm multi-fiber bass driver — alongside a 75mm titanium dome compression tweeter in a twin-cavity BassTrax ported cabinet. SP upgrades include high-grade Claritycap capacitors, Neotech PC-OCC wiring, gold-plated WBT Nextgen 0703 terminals, in-house cryogenic treatment, and an F1-grade machined aluminium platform with support cones. Crossovers are set at 250Hz and 850Hz.
Technical background
The F704SP uses dual 300mm IsoFlare coincident drivers — one as the primary drive unit and one as a dedicated bass driver — delivering unmatched low-frequency extension to 22Hz and dynamics with substantial headroom. Special Production treatment includes ClarityCap crossover components, Neotech wiring, and cryogenically treated WBT terminals throughout.
Design story
Developed as the apex of the F700SP range, the F704SP is Fyne's most powerful Special Production model. It shares driver technology with the F1-12S flagship but is configured in a floor-standing twin-drive topology for maximum output and room control in the largest listening spaces.
