F700

2-way floorstanding speaker with IsoFlare point-source driver — F700 Series. The F700 is a two-way standmount loudspeaker and the entry point to Fyne Audio's F700 Series, built around a 5.9-inch (150mm) IsoFlare point-source driver with a coaxially mounted 1-inch magnesium dome compression tweeter. The bass-reflex cabinet uses a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser on its rear port and crosses over at 1.7kHz via a passive bi-wired crossover. Seven-year warranty is included.

Technical background

The F700 uses a carbon-fibre composite IsoFlare driver — lighter and stiffer than a standard paper cone, extending high-frequency response beyond 28kHz. BassTrax tractrix porting in the plinth provides bass extension to 40Hz from a compact floor-standing enclosure.

The F700 was designed as the most accessible entry point to the F700 Series — offering carbon-fibre IsoFlare technology and handcrafted Lennoxtown construction at an entry-level price. It is the first model in the range that many Fyne customers own.
