8" IsoFlare floorstanding speaker — F500SP Special Production Series. The F502SP is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker in Fyne Audio's Special Production series, featuring dual 8-inch drivers — one IsoFlare point-source unit and one multi-fiber bass driver — in a twin-cavity BassTrax ported cabinet. Crossovers at 250Hz and 1.7kHz use F700-derived components including low-loss inductors, polypropylene capacitors, and silver-plated OFC wiring. The twin-layer aluminium plinth includes integrated adjustable floor spikes.

Technical background

The F502SP combines a 200mm IsoFlare SP driver and a 200mm dedicated bass driver with a magnesium compression tweeter — a configuration borrowed from the F700 Series. The crossover uses F700-grade components throughout, explaining its exceptional performance relative to its price.

Design story

The F502SP was developed to bring F700 Series crossover engineering into the F500SP range — a crossover designed by the same engineers, using the same component selection. Its aluminium sandwich plinth with BassTrax diffuser is a direct carry-over from the F700 range.
