F502E LCR

Larger 2.5-way LCR from the F500E series using an electromagnetically damped ABR passive radiator for controlled, articulate bass to 48Hz. 92dB sensitivity makes it one of the most efficient LCR options in its price bracket. Suitable for centre-channel or surround duty. The F502E LCR is a 2.5-way LCR loudspeaker from Fyne Audio's F500E Series, using an 8-inch IsoFlare point-source mid/bass driver, an 8-inch bass driver, and an 8-inch electromagnetically damped ABR passive radiator, alongside a 25mm titanium dome tweeter. Designed for larger home cinema systems, it handles up to 150W RMS and can be wall-mounted or placed freestanding. Crossovers are set at 250Hz and 1.7kHz.

Technical background

The F502E LCR uses a larger IsoFlare driver than the F5E LCR — providing improved bass extension and output capability for centre channel and surround use in larger rooms.

Design story

The F502E LCR was developed to bridge the F5E LCR and the F502S LCR — a mid-range LCR option that works with both F500E and F500S main speakers for flexible system building.
