F501E

Mid-size 2.5-way BassTrax floorstander from the F500E series — the most capable model in the range, reaching 36Hz with 90dB sensitivity. An IsoFlare point-source driver with dual-coil topology provides enhanced stereo imaging for its price point. The F501E is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker in Fyne Audio's F500E Series, using a 6-inch IsoFlare point-source mid/bass driver and a 6-inch bass driver with a 25mm titanium dome compression tweeter in a downward-firing BassTrax ported cabinet. Crossovers are set at 250Hz and 1.7kHz. It is positioned as an accessible entry point to Fyne Audio's larger-format IsoFlare floorstander range.

Technical background

The F501E uses the same IsoFlare driver as the F55E in a taller floor-standing enclosure with additional bass volume — delivering deeper low-frequency extension and greater dynamic scale for larger rooms.

Design story

The F501E was developed as the mid-range floorstander in the F500E family — a step above the F55E in bass extension without the full SP cabinet treatment of the F500SP. It is the current replacement for the F301i.
