The F500S is the full-specification standmount in Fyne's value-led F500S series — a 2-way BassTrax design with an IsoFlare driver delivering 45Hz–34kHz performance from a compact enclosure. Heavier braced cabinet compared to the F5S for lower coloration. The F500S is a two-way standmount loudspeaker in Fyne Audio's F500S Series, featuring a 6-inch IsoFlare point-source driver with a coaxially mounted 25mm magnesium dome compression tweeter. The downward-firing BassTrax Tractrix diffuser port delivers 360-degree bass distribution in a compact MDF cabinet. A rear-mounted presence control switch allows ±3dB adjustment, and bi-wire binding posts enable separate bass and treble amplification. Available in Black Oak, Natural Walnut, and Piano Gloss Black.
Technical background
The F500S uses an updated IsoFlare coincident driver with improved HF waveguide design over the original F500. The BassTrax port provides 45Hz extension from the compact standmount cabinet. Cabinet construction is updated throughout with improved internal damping.
