Double X Neo high-gloss plinth with 8-silencer platter — Makassar or Black finish. The Double X Neo takes a different aesthetic path from AS's all-aluminum models, combining a 64 mm MDF-steel-plywood sandwich plinth with 10.3 kg aluminum platter and 8 Silencer modules. A single AC motor with integrated digital speed control drives the belt at precisely 33⅓ and 45 rpm, while the DTD bearing provides the same low-friction spindle found throughout the NEO lineup. At 440 × 350 mm it is the most compact multi-material sandwich design in the range, making it well-suited to rooms where the clean, furniture-friendly look of a wood-body turntable is preferred. Technical background
The Double X Neo uses a sandwich plinth of MDF, steel and plywood layers bonded together for constrained-layer vibration damping. A 10.3 kg platter with 8 silencer modules and DTD bearing provide the same bearing quality as the reference range. Single motor with AVC Level 1 control. Accepts one 9-inch tonearm.
