CI140SUB

PMC Ci140 on-wall subwoofer — 1400mm tall format. The PMC Ci140Sub is a passive on-wall or in-wall subwoofer in the same 300×1400mm format as the Ci140, housing four 5.25-inch natural fibre woofers with a 2.3m ATL transmission line for bass extension to 28Hz. It is designed to partner the Ci140 in installations requiring dedicated subwoofer reinforcement without a freestanding cabinet.

Technical background

The Ci140Sub uses the same quad-driver, 2.3-metre ATL architecture as the Ci140 but configured as a dedicated subwoofer, delivering controlled in-wall bass to 29 Hz (–6 dB). Integration with the Ci140 is acoustically seamless, and the ATL loading provides tighter, more musical bass than a conventional ported subwoofer enclosure.
