CI 45
Expanded In-Wall Reference — More Bass Authority, Same PMC ATL Precision
Description ⌄
PMC Ci45 in-wall speaker — H 450mm format. The PMC Ci 45 is a two-way in-wall loudspeaker in a rectangular 300×450mm format, housing a 6.5-inch natural fibre woofer and 27mm soft-dome tweeter with a 1.65m ATL transmission line. The taller format and larger woofer compared to the Ci 30 provides greater bass output and a lower frequency response of 45Hz, suited to medium-sized rooms.
Technical background
The Ci45 extends the ATL to 1.65 metres compared to the Ci30's 1.5 metres, delivering enhanced bass extension to 45 Hz from an in-wall cabinet. The same 5.25" Natural Fibre driver and 27mm tweeter provide the tonal continuity expected of the PMC Ci range.
Design story
Designed as the medium-format option in the Ci range, the Ci45 suits rooms where the Ci30 would be acoustically marginal but the Ci65 is too large. The ATL ensures consistent bass performance regardless of wall construction.
Best for
Custom install in medium rooms — living rooms, bedrooms, or open-plan spaces — requiring discreet in-ceiling hi-fi performance AV integrators specifying medium-room installations; residential audio projects requiring enhanced bass extension from in-wall speakers In-wall audio for medium-sized rooms; multichannel home cinema in-wall installation; whole-home audio with enhanced bass
