CI 30

PMC Ci30 in-wall speaker — supplied with white grille. The PMC Ci 30 is a two-way in-wall loudspeaker using a 5.25-inch natural fibre long-throw woofer and 27mm soft-dome tweeter with a 1.5m ATL transmission line providing bass extension to 47Hz. It uses PMC's Qikfire spring-loaded mounting system for tool-free installation and is supplied with a white silk grille, with a black silk grille available as an option.

Technical background

The Ci30 brings PMC's Advanced Transmission Line into an in-wall enclosure — a technical achievement that virtually no other manufacturer has achieved at this size. The 1.5-metre ATL provides bass extension to 47 Hz from a wall-mounted unit, eliminating the one-note bass character of sealed in-wall speakers.

Design story

Developed in Luton for the residential AV integration market, the Ci30 was designed to bring the acoustic performance standards of PMC's studio monitors to architectural audio installations. The Qikfire spring-loaded mounting system enables rapid, tool-free installation without the need for a separate back box.
