Technical background

Chord Company's ARAY noise-reduction products — GroundARAY and PowerARAY — are entirely passive devices that use proprietary conductor geometry to dissipate high-frequency noise when plugged into an unused input, output or mains socket. They contain no active components, require no power and introduce no alteration to the signal path. They work by providing high-frequency interference a controlled low-impedance dissipation path without creating a feedback loop or ground loop.
