15" IsoFlare floorstanding speaker in classic Walnut — flagship Vintage Series. The Vintage Fifteen is Fyne Audio's flagship Vintage Collection speaker, featuring a 15-inch IsoFlare point-source driver with a coaxially mounted 75mm titanium dome compression tweeter in a twin-cavity birch plywood cabinet. The downward-firing BassTrax Tractrix port provides deep bass extension to 22Hz. A 750Hz hand-built crossover uses silver-plated OFC wiring with cryogenic treatment, and the walnut veneer cabinet includes burr walnut inlays and gold-anodized metalwork.
Technical background
The Vintage 15 is unique among production loudspeakers — a 15-inch IsoFlare coincident driver delivering 97dB sensitivity and bass extension to 22Hz from a two-way design. This enables operation from single-ended triode amplifiers producing as little as 3–5 watts, while filling large listening spaces with effortless dynamics.
Design story
The Vintage 15 was developed as the ultimate expression of Fyne's IsoFlare philosophy: maximum driver size, maximum efficiency, in a classic British cabinet. It is the most extreme version of the argument that simpler designs — fewer drivers, fewer crossover points — make better music.
