GoldNote Giglio turntable — triple plinth design in Italian Walnut. Belt-drive turntable with dual-motor system, composite aluminium-acrylic platter and W&F 0.1%, rumble -78dB performance. Weighing 14.5kg in a three-plinth Italian walnut design (425×170×360mm), it includes electronic speed selection 33/45 with pitch control. Supplied with B-5.1 tonearm and 18V external power supply.

Technical background

GoldNote's Catenary Curve plinth architecture draws from Renaissance structural engineering — multiple curved boards bonded under tension create a zero-parallel-surface structure that eliminates internal standing waves. The proprietary Split-Spindle bearing decoupling isolates the platter spindle from the motor shaft, while the AC wave-rebuilding motor PSU regenerates a clean AC sinewave to eliminate electrical grid interference from the drive motor.

Design story

GoldNote's products are rooted in the Italian Renaissance tradition of integrating art and engineering. The Bellagio and Mediterraneo families take their names from northern Italian landscapes, and their curved Catenary Curve plinth architectures mirror the structural arcs found in Renaissance stonework. Every chassis is hand-finished at GoldNote's workshop near Florence, where craftsmen have been building precision audio instruments since 1992.
