F702SP

8" IsoFlare floorstanding speaker — UK-crafted F700SP Series. The F702SP is the Special Production version of the F702 floorstanding speaker, using dual 8-inch drivers — one IsoFlare point-source unit and one multi-fiber bass driver — in a 2.5-way twin-cavity BassTrax ported cabinet. SP upgrades include Claritycap capacitors, Neotech PC-OCC wiring, gold-plated WBT Nextgen 0703 terminals, cryogenic treatment, and an F1-grade machined aluminium platform with support cones.

Technical background

The F702SP uses the 200mm IsoFlare driver from the F1-8, in a floor-standing twin-cavity BassTrax enclosure. Special Production upgrades include ClarityCap capacitors, Neotech PC-OCC wiring, and cryogenically treated gold-plated WBT Nextgen terminals. Bass extends to 28Hz.

Design story

The F702SP was designed to deliver F1 Series driver quality in a conventional floor-standing format that works in a wider range of rooms. It is manufactured in Lennoxtown to the same SP build standards as the F1-8S.
