6" IsoFlare floorstanding speaker — F500SP Special Production Series. The F501SP is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker in Fyne Audio's Special Production series, featuring two 6-inch drivers — one IsoFlare point-source unit and one multi-fiber bass driver — in a downward-firing BassTrax ported cabinet. Crossovers at 250Hz and 1.7kHz use upgraded components trickled down from the F700 Series, including low-loss inductors and polypropylene capacitors. An aluminium sandwich plinth with a fifth RF grounding terminal completes the SP package.

Technical background

The F501SP uses a 150mm IsoFlare SP driver with a FyneFlute surround for reduced cone breakup and improved high-frequency clarity. The crossover uses premium components consistent with the SP designation. The bi-wire panel with fifth grounding terminal provides RF noise rejection.

The F501SP was designed as the aspirational member of the F500SP range — offering the maximum SP refinement achievable at the mid-range price point. Its diamond-cut anodised aluminium plinth is a manufacturing investment that sets it apart from standard F500 range models.
