Technical background

The F500SP uses a 6-inch IsoFlare coincident driver with a multi-fibre cone — a construction technique used in higher F700 Series models — for improved high-frequency coherence. BassTrax tractrix porting provides 45Hz bass extension from the compact standmount cabinet.

Design story

The F500SP was developed to bridge the F500S standard range and the F700 Series — offering Special Production driver and cabinet quality at a mid-range price. Real-wood veneer finish options are a key differentiator from the standard F500S range.
